Here's a link to an introduction to Gendlin's philosophy from Robert Parker. This is a good place to start. Robert Parker intro
One of the frustrating aspects of Gendlin's work for academics is the absense of sources, which can make it hard to place him in the philosophical tradition. Donata Schoeller, who worked with Gendlin late in his life, has helped fill that gap. See her website especially the articles "Cognition as a Transformative Process", "Somatic - Semantic - Shifting" and "Thinking Emergence: Saying What We Mean" The Focusing Institute has most of Gendlin's philosophical writings. Here is a link to those writings. |
